Chief Operating Officer
Lobon Innovations LLC is the U.S. subsidiary of Lobon Technologies Inc (Canada). Our mission is to deliver innovative mobility, ride-sharing, and technology-driven solutions that transform transportation and business services in the U.S. market. As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our operational strategy and execution.
Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all U.S. operational activities, aligning company goals with effective execution, and ensuring sustainable growth. The COO will design, implement, and optimize systems and processes to deliver high-quality services while meeting financial targets.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy: Develop and execute short- and long-term operational plans that align with corporate goals.
- Leadership: Build and lead high-performing operational teams across regions.
- Process Improvement: Analyze, design, and improve processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- P&L Management: Oversee budgets, cost management, and financial performance of operational units.
- Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational success.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Technology, Finance, HR, and Marketing to ensure alignment and seamless service delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, including regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Market Expansion: Support and execute plans for entering new markets or launching new services.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report operational performance and strategic initiatives to the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Culture and Values: Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, with at least 3 years in senior leadership roles.
- Demonstrated ability to scale operations in a high-growth environment.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility experience.
- Proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Deep understanding of operational best practices and process optimization.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in transportation or technology sectors is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in mobility, ride-sharing, logistics, or transportation industries.
- Experience with multi-state operations and regulatory compliance in the U.S.
- Familiarity with technology platforms, apps, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work effectively with international teams (particularly Canadian headquarters).
